Li had several tattoos, all of which I’d seen more than once. He also had the best abs of any man I’d ever met. Each was etched from hard workouts, martial arts training and the many laps he swam nearly every day. He was a thing of beauty in the water, moving with the speed of a racer. He was a thing of beauty in or out of the water, but I had always tried to put it from my mind. After all, I was engaged. But I’m not anymore.
“You’re staring again.”
“Oh, for God’s sake, Yung Li, go put on a shirt!” I snapped, grinning.
Laughing, he rose slowly. My hungry stare followed him as he stood.
“Yes, ma’am. Never let it be said I distracted a lady from her meal.” He sauntered to his room, grabbed a shirt and pulled it slowly over his head.
I never thought that watching a man get dressed would have such an alarming effect on me, but dear God, he made it so sexy, I thought I’d fall down. You’d expect seeing him strip to be the hottest thing imaginable, but I’m here to swear it’s not. Of course, he knew he had me flustered, how could he not? I was staring at him with drool hanging off my lip, and not because these are tasty pancakes! When he stood up, I could see he had the same thoughts in his mind that I do, cause—da-yam! That man comes fully loaded and ready to rock!
