Donald was very solicitous of Siobhan, giving her a hand to get in the car. He closed the door carefully and walked back to the driver’s side. Roger stood on the curb, watching his friend ignore him. Chuckling, he went around the car and let himself in.
“I see how important I am,” he said with a dramatic whine and sniff.
“You’ve done your stud duty. We no longer have a need for you,” Donald told him as he pulled into traffic.
